Jungle Safari Lodge is situated at the edge of the Rapti river It is located 45 minutes away from the town called Tandi and only 5 min. away from the park and it's headquarters. At the present time the lodge consists of comfortable cottages that are spread over a large area with well maintained lawns, walk ways and a garden full of flowers and plants. This lodge also has a separate dining room where delicious Nepalese and continental cuisine are served The dining hall is a convenient place for our visitors to meet and share their joy and happiness. All the rooms at Jungle Safari Lodge are well carpeted and have attached bathrooms.

The Wildlife Activities

One of the best ways to view the flora and fauna of Chitwan is from elephant back enabling you to penetrate deep into the jungle through tall grassland, but there are many other exciting ways too. We provide you an experienced naturalists and nature guides will take you on jungle walks, bird watching, for boat rides to seek out both the marsh Mugger and Gharial crocodiles and to observe wildlife from one of our watchtowers.

Getting There

By Surface
A pleasant five-hour drive by car or bus on the Kathmandu-Narayanghat highway follows the Trisuli river offering you a continually changing landscape from the mountains of the Himalayas to the plains of terai.

By Raft

One of the most exciting ways to travel to the park is to raft down the Trisuli River. For two or more days you can float down the river experiencing its numerous rapids and seeing a variety of the village life, flora and fauna along its banks.

By Air
A half-hour flight will bring you from Kathmandu to Bhatratpur where you will be met by our staff and driven to the resort.
